“The Twin Paradox: A Symphonic Discourse“ is a groundbreaking contemporary symphonic piece born from a unique collaboration between two composers and Google Gemini. Explore the challenges, surprises, and the innovative process that proves AI can fuel human artistry rather than replace it.
“The Twin Paradox: A Symphonic Discourse” was commissioned by Münchner Symphoniker in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture and Google Germany and premiered on October 10, 2024, by Münchner Symphoniker under Joseph Bastian at Prinzregententheater München.

„The Tapestry Of Spaces“ („Das Lied der Räume“) is a masterpiece of classical music, AI composition, street art and immersive audio and video technology.
Seven rooms of the KUNSTLABOR 2 exhibition in Munich serve as the starting point for this project. Using photos of the rooms designed by the artists, the LLM-AI generated the melodic material for five individual instruments, each assigned to a specific room.
“The Tapestry Of Spaces” was nominated for the German Orchestra Foundation’s Innovation Award in 2023.

Virtual reality now allows you to meet yourself as an absolutely realistic counterpart. The change of perspective offers you an exciting insight into your own strengths and weaknesses: the effect of your own stage presence, posture problems, dealing with anxiety – all of this can be perceived in a completely different way from the close-up observer’s perspective, similar to that of a teacher. The immediate impression from your play and its recording creates an unprecedented perception of your own performance.

„KI macht Schule“ („AI takes over school“) 2024/25
Musicians of Münchner Symphoniker teamed up with experts from „KI macht Schule“ and software engineers from Google Munich to create a course that sheds light on current AI technologies in the field of music. It encourages students to learn orientation knowledge, e.g. how AI is related to machine learning and audio processing, as well as hands-on exercises to playfully develop their own AI system that automatically recognizes sounds.
